Tempting Treasures Game
The 2019 Crescen-Dough Flamingle Auction will offer another “winner’s choice travel drawing” in the form of a game titled “Tempting Treasures Game”.
On the night of the auction, we will be offering the "Tempting Treasures Game" - a game where the winner can choose between one of three exciting trips! The winner can choose between the following options: Escape to Paradise: St. Lucia, Whale Watching Adventure and Napa Valley Gourmet Cooking Experience. All three trips are valued at $6,000! Each trip is for two people and includes airfare, deluxe hotel, exclusive travel agent and no blackout dates.
Each chance to play costs $100 and you can purchase as many chances as you wish. There will only be 101 chances available so make sure to stop by the Tempting Treasures Palm Tree and Table that night to purchase your chance early! For each chance purchased, you will receive a game piece in a special golden coconut. Each coconut contains a VERY special message with a number and a theme prize. Be sure to save the message with your game piece number! So, no matter what, for each game chance purchased, you win at least have a sweet surprise!
The Tempting Treasures Game will be played immediately after the last Live Auction item - so you must be present to win. Everyone who has a game piece will stand to participate in the game. Five special numbers will be pulled from the treasure box with the final number drawn being the grand prize winner! For more information on the trips, please see the attached poster. How it Works
- There will be 101 chances to play the game.
- A person can purchase as many chances as they wish.
- Each “chance” is $100.
- You must be present to win.
- Please see the Rules and Regulations page for full details/restrictions/etc.
- Before the auction, there will be 51 vouchers available for purchase-the voucher will be turned in the night of the auction at the Tempting Treasures Game Table.
- The night of the auction, voucher holders and those wishing to purchase a chance to play can go to the Tempting Treasures Table to receive their official coconut game piece with a message and sweet treat inside the coconut. The Tempting Treasures Table is easy to find...just look for the palm tree loaded with coconuts. (Table closes at 8:00 p.m.)
- Coconuts: Each coconut will contain a VERY special message with a number and a sweet treat! Five of the numbers will be winners and called to the stage to collect their prize. The final number called will be the grand winner and will select a prize of their choice from the three trips offered.
- Only guests with game pieces will be able to play the game. The game will be played immediately after the final Live Auction item.

Please return all sold voucher stubs and unsold vouchers to Karen Morris by April 11th so we can have an accurate count of chances sold and to make sure voucher holder names are on a list the night of the auction.
Rules and Regulations
Winners Can Choose One Trip From the Following Choices:
- Escape to Paradise: St. Lucia
- Whale Watching Adventure
- Napa Valley Cooking Experience
- You must be at least 25 years old to participate.
- Maximum of 101 game tickets will be sold. Minimum of 51 game tickets must be sold to conduct the Tempting Treasures Game.*
- Winner will be required to provide valid SSN or Tax ID for tax purposes. Fair Market Value of the prize is subject to State and Federal tax and the responsibility of the winner.
- Tempting Treasures game tickets are not tax deductible.
- Tempting Treasures game ticket sales will end on April 12, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.
- Winner must be present to win.
- The Tempting Treasures game will be held at the 2019 Crescen-Dough Flamingle Auction at the VBC.
- Winner will select one trip for two people from a preset selection of three trips.
- Please see list of inclusions and exclusions.
- Airfare is guaranteed out of Atlanta or Birmingham. The winner is responsible for securing necessary documentation (ID) required to travel via air.
- Purchasers will receive a coconut containing a VERY special message with a number and a sweet treat. Be sure to save your message with your game piece number!
- All proceeds from the Symphony Guild 2019 Crescen-Dough Auction will benefit the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.
- Trips are arranged by Impact Auctions.
- Impact Auctions provides an exclusive travel agent to assist travelers with reservations. This is a luxury benefit for every winning bidder. Winners must follow the award certificate guidelines to schedule the experience.
- All trips are for two people and expire one year from date of purchase.
- All travel must be booked 90 days in advance.
- Blackout dates do not apply on most packages, but if holiday travel is being considered, we recommend six-month advance notification for reservations to guarantee hotel rooms without extra surcharges.
- All hotels include deluxe accommodations.
- Airfare is for the main cabin but can be upgraded with traveler’s points, etc.
- Ground transportation and gratuities are not included unless listed.
- With the exception of set tours, most trips may be altered to accommodate the winning traveler on most experiences. Additional cost, if any, is the responsibility of the traveler. The only time that it cannot be altered is if it is a set tour.
*Drawing tickets are only-refundable if the minimum number of tickets is NOT sold.
